William Hill casino uses Cryptologic’s version 4 software, and has a license to operate. William Hill is part of one of the world’s largest gaming organizations, with over 10.000 employees worldwide and 1.500 betting offices in the United Kingdom. The fact that the scope of their gaming activities extends beyond the Internet assured me that I was dealing with a serious business.

Based on the positive things I had heard about the casino, I was eager to download their software and get started.
Software
The software from Cryptologic was easy to install. There was a pre-installer of approximately 0.5 mb, which served as a launcher for the following installation file – a little over 3 mb in size. A great feature was the possibility of being able to register as a real player during the installation process – something I’ve not seen at many other online casinos.
The graphics are good, and similar to Inter Casino’s in several ways, including the welcome screen – a bird’s eye view of the casino floor . Here, one is met by a quick overview of the different games on offer.
The games themselves look realistic, and overall I was quite impressed by the quality of the graphics. The sound is limited to dealer remarks, such as the often-tedious ‘place your bets’, and sound effects, which constitute those found at real casinos, like the sound of slot machines spinning, the flipping of cards and people chatting. While I can accept the notion that online casinos should focus on the visual side, I still found the sound lacking, and quickly turned it off.
Unfortunately, I have often found Cryptologic’s software to be a bit unstable, sometimes hanging or exiting to the desktop, and William Hill was no exception. While this problem could be attributed to my hardware configuration, I’ve now experienced crashes on two different systems. It is very annoying to have to re-enter the casino due to this, and I hope Cryptologic will address it in future versions of their software. I have found that disabling hardware acceleration on a Windows PC can help.
The game selection is excellent. The classic games are all here, in addition to some less popular ones such as Red Dog, Carribean Poker, and Pai Gow Poker. There are some great progressive slot machines, some of which pay out huge jackpots. There’s also a free game called ‘Break the Bank’, where you have to guess a nine digit code – if you guess it, you win $100.000 (what are the odds of that??).
The multiplayer option is great, and contributes to the gaming experience. A practice mode is also available.
For those who don't want to download the software, a free CD is available upon order.
Bonus rules
The 100% deposit bonus varies from month to month. The bonus is added instantly to your account, which is nice, and you’re allowed to use the bonus on any game in the casino. The wagering requirement is a little high, but you can withdraw your own deposit at any time. If you withdraw your deposit prior to meeting the wagering requirements, this amount is carried over to next month.
Special features
If you’re having problems, be it the software or banking, it’s possible to have a supporter call you up by pressing a button inside the casino software – an excellent idea!
Personal column
I’ve never won at William Hill Casino. In spite of this, I always seem to return to this place to have some fun with the monthly bonus. I know from other players that winnings are sent quickly, and the one time I needed to get in touch with customer service, the reply was corteous and prompt.
Parting thoughts
On the whole, I enjoyed playing at William Hill. The programmers have managed to produce a theme, consistent with the British upper-class world they wish to suck the player into. White-gloved dealers, and a fireplace on the casino floor – great stuff. The issue of software stability drags down the overall impression, but the graphics and customer service, and the fact that we are dealing with a rock-solid company more than make up for this. Thumbs up!

Skov did not recommend this casino WillHill should be avoided at all costs. After requesting a withdrawel and completing wagering requirements for receiving bonuses, I was scammed by WillHill by $326.
Scammed? Well, after requesting the withdrawel via bankwire in January, it never should after 5 business days. They stated that there must be some kind of mistake.
Since then, no further replies to emails, lame rehearsed replies via telephone, and won't even credit my account what I originally wanted withdrawed so that they could have a chance to win their money back.
But hey, with millions in revenue each day, who cares about the little guy? Apparently WillHill doesn't.
TWO THUMBS DOWN! |

Donna did not recommend this casino You can put money in, but you can't take it out. No response to emails or phone calls. I won't bother to put more money into this casino. What a joke! This is a "trusted casino"? |

Dudley did not recommend this casino What a nightmare. Made deposit. Played for a long session, well over requirement for bonus. Attempted to return to site on another occasion and unable to join after repeated attempts. Called customer service and was told server down temporarily. Called again a few days later and was actually rudely disconnected. Made inquiries by email several times: no response. Still unable to access site. Finally reached CSR and was told they were "working on it." But no explanation of what the problem was. Next day finally able to access site and found that I had been credited with the amount of my original deposit as a "Good
Will Gesture." No mention of my confiscated winnings. I did play with the "Good Will Gesture" and managed to recoup my initial winnings. Next time I attempted to access site found that I had a negative balance of $50 !!!!!
I immediate uninstalle software. I never received the courtesy of a reply to any of my emails or had a polite response from a CSR. Never had any explanation from them. I felt that I was being treated like a cheater. I have no inclination to cheat and even if I did I wouldn't know how.
The time I spent trying to get this straightend out was worth a good bit more that my modest winnings. DO NO PLAY AT THIS CLIP JOINT

Sergey did not recommend this casino I never played in an online casino game
before and definitely will not play again after my
experience with William Hill Casino. This so called
"respected casino" (respected by whom?) has not allowed me
to withdraw money I won. I deposited J45 and received a J25
"bonus" money (I never asked for) from the casino.
After playing I won J130.
So, my ballance was J175. But I could withdraw only J75.
The rest were inavailable because, as I was told by casino
representative, "I should go on gambling until the sum of
my losses and winnings reach J500. And this is because I
received their J25 bonus". But I could not refuse this
bonus. It was transferred on my account automatically.
So, even If you won money
in William Hills you will not get them. If you are lucky
enough you can get back your deposit but forget about your
winning money. I was attracted by roulette because chances
to win are almost 50/50 but with rules and conditions of
William Hills there much less chances to win. You simply
have not right to decide when to stop gambling in William
Hill Casino. Play until you lose because you cannot have
your winning anyway - this is the policy of this
"respected" company." |

eend did not recommend this casino Unfortunately it seems that you funds are locked up in the casino and we are, as yet, unable to credit the funds back to your account. We apologise that you were told that they would be credited back today but it seems that technical complication has arisen and it has had to be passed on to our IT department. The funds will be released as soon as possible and we once again apologise for the delay and any inconvenience caused.
I am now waiting for more then a week for my money despite, telephones, mails, etc. promises promises promises. Hill you are a bunch of thiefs! |

Elizabeth C. recommended William Hill A good casino. No problems getting a large winning from this place after having a very lucky streak at the blackjack and roulette tables. To the reviewer below me, Sergey: I don't mean this in a sarcastic way, but you should always read the regulations before playing at a casino - ESPECIALLY the bonus rules, they can be a bit hard to decipher :) |

Robert Brown recommended William Hill Some outrageous wagering requirements, but some great software. If you're in this for the free chips, this is not the place to go, if you consider gamblign a fun pasttime, William Hill might be what you're looking for. |

Henry Williams recommended William Hill Have played at well over 30 online casinos - this one and intercasino are my favourites. I dont agree with the reviewer of this site who says theres a problem with software stability. Ive never had problems with wagerlogics software. I usually play Let it Ride at will hill. Good chance of getting some pretty good winnings with small bets. If you like playing slot machines, try rags to riches. Good luck to all of you, hope to see you at the tables sometime. |

Collette recommended William Hill I play here every single month, and love the free bonus chips. I recently pulled home over $400 playing rags to riches, my favourite progressive slot machine on the internet. |
