Software
The download and installation process was uncomplicated, so I will not go into detail about that. Golden Palace recently switched to Playtech, which means we are dealing with stable software provider, and an array of games that resembles that of Kiwi Casino and Prestige Casino.

Personal column
I wagered my first hand at Golden Palace back in 1999. That was before they used Playtech software. It's been interesting to track the development of Golden Palace. Back when I first started playing here, withdrawals were processed VERY slowly, sometimes taking up to a month to receive a cheque. This has changed for the better - cheques are sent within a couple of days after your withdrawal request. If you have a NETeller account, you'll get your money even quicker.
Conclusion
Very highly recommended. Great support, and excellent software. Withdrawals were processed quickly when I played here last time. Some users on our site are complaining about rather slow pay-outs at the moment though.

I love the Play Tech software however I have found out that software performs differently at different operators. I suspect there are customization features that can effect payouts and the so call random numbers. I play craps.....and my experience is that anytime there is a big win for the player on the table the RNG would crank out a "7". I tested this by laying numbers and seven never was in sight....coulnt find one...but let me place $440 dollars inside and bam'....i get blown away....also tested come out sevens on pass/dont pass.Needless to say when i had money on dontpass the 7's averaged 10-11 out of 36 and when I had it on pass the 7's occurred 5-6 per 36.....wonder why?.....I also have experienced the dice freezing in mid throw as if making a calculation. Needless to say I lost everytime that has happened.

I played a lot of blackjack and won in the beginning. I received their payment checks in a timely manner. After a few winning sessions, though, the house started winning almost every hand. I have had some tough sessions at the live casino but this was unreal. There was just no chance. Dealer drew 20 or 21 everytime I had a 20. Dealer had 10 up almost every hand and sucked out on every 4, 5, or 6 up. It seems like the game changes gears if you are a winning player. Also, whenever you place a big bet the game pauses for a couple of seconds. I always lost the hand after a pause. I have a high-speed cable connection so there should be no issues with the connection. Call me paranoid but....

DO NOT play at Golden Palace. They will take your money very quickly, but if you win it is impossible to get them to give you your winnings. Like the other review says, they give one excuse after the other. Going on three weeks, and they still havent gotten me my winnings. I have email proof that they lied to me twice regarding my withdrawal. |
